Between school or work, sometimes is very hard to be healthy. Drinking this smoothies there is no excuse not to be healthy. Enjoy and remember to take care of your body, practice exercise, eat healthy, sleep the hours that you are supposed to and be happy. :D
Mint Lime Smoothie
Ingredients 1/2 cup coconut water 1/2 cup of ice 1 banana 1 orange, peeled 3 mint sprigs 1/2 lime, peeled 1/2 cup spinach or kale
Start by peeling the lime, banana and orange. Blend everything until it has a liquid and smooth texture. This smoothie is very refreshing and high on potassium that will help you start a good and fresh morning.
Mango Peach Smoothie
Ingredients 1 peach, sliced 1 mango, peeled and diced 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup orange juice
To enjoy this delicious smoothie, add all the ingredients to the blender and let it blend until the texture is liquid and smooth. It is easy and fast to create for everyone's morning rush, after drinking the smoothie you will be fun and ready to start your day.
Hawaiian Berry Smoothie
Ingredients(Hawaiian layer) 1 orange, sliced 2 frozen bananas, sliced 1 cup frozen mango 1/4 cup orange juice, plus more if smoothie is too thick
Ingredients(berry layer) 1 container berry yogurt (roughly 5.3-6 oz) 2 cups frozen berries (strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, cherries - the more blueberries and blackberries the more purple the smoothie will be) 1 frozen banana, sliced 1/4 cup milk, plus more if smoothie is too thick
If you are feeling tropical and want something different to change your diet, this will solve your problems. To create the Hawaiian layer, all the ingredients need to be added to the blender(in the order they are listed) and to make it less thick add orange juice to the mixture. For the Berry layer, add the ingredients as listed above to the blender and use milk if necessary to take out the thickness of the smoothie. Pour one mixture (it does not matter the order) to the glass and then add the other one using a spoon to soften the pouring.
Strawberry Kiwi Smoothie
Ingredients 2 small ripe kiwis, peeled and quartered 1/2 cup frozen strawberry halves 1/2 medium orange (or 1 clementine), peel and pith removed 1/2 banana, sliced and frozen. 1/2 cup skim milk 2 tablespoons rolled or quick-cooking oats Small handful ice, optional (add if you prefer a thicker, frostier smoothie) 1-2 teaspoons honey, optional
End your cold with this smoothie! This smoothie has vitamin D and C that work as a natural remedy for colds. The preparation starts by adding all the ingredients, except honey to the blender, when it reaches a liquid smooth texture; taste it and add one or two teaspoons of honey(optional).
Banana Blueberry Smoothie
Ingredients 1 ripe banana 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen) 1 cup low-fat plain yogurt
If you are looking for strong immune system, this is your smoothie. The blueberries have antioxidants which makes your immune system stronger and the yogurt incorporates the vitamin B and calcium. Use a blender and add all the ingredients to preferably have a liquid smooth texture. You can share it with a friend! This portions are made for two servings, cut everything in half to have just one serving.
